How a 28-Second Clip Sparked a Faux “White Genocide” Panic Among the Texas GOP
Over the weekend a video resurfaced in which state Representative Gene Wu, a Houston Democrat who chairs his party’s caucus in the lower chamber, calls for racial minorities in America to unite and begin the wholesale subjugation, slaughter, and elimination of the white race. This proved somewhat controversial online—controversial enough, in fact, that I initially doubted he had said it. Wu is a spicy poster, but generally speaking, has political positions broadly recognizable by any Texas liberal from fifty years ago. But he had said it.
