I wonder what’s going through the minds of the people who stand in the middle of Congress Avenue to take pictures of the Texas Capitol. It’s an impressive view, sure, of a building reminiscent of, but taller than, the U.S. Capitol. It’s not a view to die for, though.But who am I to judge? I go well out of my way to take in the same view every day. GPS tells me it takes five minutes longer to travel the length of Congress from my home to our downtown offices than to take the MoPac expressway.
