A Budding Barbecue Empire Goes Vintage for Its New Location
I visited the new location of Pinkerton’s Barbecue, in Houston, at night so I could witness the neon show in full effect. “Beef – Pork – Links” glowed orange on the towering sign that was reflected in the windows of the cars filling the parking lot. It was Wednesday, so the “Hot Whole Hog” (available only on Saturdays) portion of the sign remained dark.
